“Everyone has a skill, talent or interest that could benefit the community.”
– Vladimir Malyuta, Director of Membership & Volunteer Committee
We appreciate your interest in volunteering at the Russian Community Center. Volunteers are the lifeblood of organization-we can’t do it without you. We invite you to join us as we work to build a vibrant community center for Russian speakers. Let us know what you’re interested in and we will match you with similar projects and people.
Volunteering is good for the soul. You’ll feel great about the work you’re doing and we’ll feel great to have you with us.
We’re always looking for help in all departments but below are just a few things we need right now:
• Teachers for Russian and English classes
• Librarians for Archival Preservation Project
• Help setting up events
• Volunteers to assist with educational programs
Don’t worry if you’re not interested or don’t feel qualified for any of the above positions. Tell us what you’re good at and we’ll find a great match.
Volunteering looks great on college applications and is a fantastic opportunity to practice the skills you’re learning. We’ll even work with you to create an internship for non-profit or early childhood education students. Contact us today to talk about a unique and unforgettable opportunity.
If you’ve got a great idea for how you can help us, we’d love to hear it. Get in touch with a Volunteer Committee member today and tell us how you can help.
