We are a diverse group of people enthusiastic about life, opportunity and our shared heritage. The Russian Community Center exists to provide necessary resources to Russian speaking immigrants and to assist them in adapting to American society. At the same time, we seek to preserve our unique heritage and inspire others with our rich history.
Since opening our doors in 2009, we’ve accomplished all we set out to, and much more. Our philosophy of hard work and cooperation has inspired many others to get involved and created many chances to assist immigrants and celebrate Russian culture. We invite you to learn more about us and find out how you can get involved.
Building Strong Communities
The sharing of history, art, stories, food and friendship; this is what creates resilient and vibrant communities. We will grow strong communities through education and experience. The RCC is home to fantastic programs like our Salon Events membership program, the Archival Preservation Project and our
Happy Women’s Club. Join us as a member and get access to exciting events while helping celebrate and promote Slavic culture.
We’re also proud to host two exciting annual celebrations:
Yarmarka and the Children’s Festival of Russian Culture. At these events, we bring together families and community leaders with music, food and dance. Attendance is growing each year, providing ample opportunity for businesses to advertise through our
corporate sponsorship program.
“Never give up” – that’s the motto of our founders and the philosophy with which we approach all endeavors. We’d like to inspire others to thrive as we have and provide the tools to help them do so. Success in life, in business and in friendships: These are the things we stand for.
We offer language classes, assistance in locating services such as translators, lawyers and doctors and help with everything from filling out documents to buying a home. Our experience has taught us that the needs of the immigrant community are varied and range from a simple welcome to help finding a job. Our members and our staff are committed to helping in any way we can.

Dear friends,
In 2008, we opened the doors to our Russian community center in Redmond, so I want to talk a bit about the center, about us, and our plans for the future and that we have already done.
Who are we? We are a group of enthusiasts, people from the former Soviet Union who have decided to live a full life in a new country for us, while preserving the best of our culture. With communication, we help our fellow citizens pass adaptation safely, as well as trying to give our children and grandchildren the culture in which we grew up, and to provide our fellow mental and spiritual support. The idea of establishing the center was discussed for some time now, but due to certain circumstances, we were only able to open the center in July 2009.
